Key Requirements

  • Red Seal Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Mechanic Certification
  • Read and interpret blueprints
  • Measure and lay out reference points
  • Assemble and install HVAC components
  • Install, troubleshoot, and overhaul systems
  • Recharge systems with refrigerant
  • Follow and maintain a preventative maintenance schedule
  • Diagnose, repair, and replace parts
