Assist in the provision of care to ill and injured animals as well as providing assistance to clinicians, staff and professional students in the day-to-day operations of the Veterinary Medical Center.
Duties include basic patient care, assisting with lab specimen collection, patient assessment, restraint, treatments, and comforting hospitalized animal patients.
Responsibilities also involve cleaning and disinfecting treatment areas, housing units, and equipment, as well as monitoring patients and notifying higher-level staff of changes.
