Memorial Hospital Miramar is seeking an Emergency Care Technician to provide basic patient care and monitoring in the emergency room. This full-time position operates on a mid shift from 11 am to 11 pm and requires a variety of certifications along with the ability to work in a high-pressure environment
Job Summary
Under the supervision of an RN, performs basic patient care activities and continual one-on-one patient monitoring.
Assists with keeping patient rooms/areas stocked, clean and orderly and documents and communicates all attempted and/or completed procedures to the nursing/medical staff.
Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision in a stressful environment.
