Job Summary
The School Nurse provides services such as referring, record keeping and reporting of immunizations, health screen findings and other relevant health data in order to comply with federal, state and local laws regulations and policies.
Promotes and protects the optimal health status of all students; Provides resources, and/or locations for families to complete the required vision, hearing, and scoliosis screening requirements for Texas students.
Works with families to complete all required immunizations and manages the immunization process which includes gathering missing documentation, ensuring both the K12 and district systems are updated to reflect changes.
