It is the responsibility of the cook to manage and operate the kitchen in the absence of the Dietary Supervisor.
The cook must maintain the kitchen and cooking area in a safe, orderly, clean and sanitary manner and prepare a variety of meals including special diets.
The position requires cooperation with personnel in all departments and participation in orientation and ongoing training of dietary staff.

Key Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum one year hospital or long term care cooking experience
Must obtain and maintain ServSafe Certificate
Knowledge and experience with PCC preferred
Must remain in good standing with Department of Public Health
