Roblox is seeking a Senior Design Engineer to enhance its design acceleration team by developing scalable backend services, APIs, and internal tools that support design and engineering collaboration. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in software engineering, especially in backend development and design tooling, with familiarity in AI protocols and cloud infrastructure

Job Summary

  • As a Design Engineer on the Design Acceleration team, you’ll be an individual contributor focused on evolving the systems and processes which power Roblox’s design organization through scalable systems, AI integrations, and custom tooling.
  • You will help build internal tools, like Figma plugins and design utilities, that empower designers and engineers to work faster and more cohesively.
  • Your work will help ensure our design tools, AI agents, and prototypes not only inspire—but deploy seamlessly into production environments.
