Job Summary

  • The Sr. Principal Engineer, Clean Utilities is the technical subject matter expert accountable for overall E2E process engineering leadership in the design and execution of implementing a clean utilities system into a new cGMP drug product manufacturing plant.
  • Key responsibilities include developing clean utility drawings, assessing vendor competency, leading detailed design and development of clean utility equipment, and overseeing equipment FAT, SAT, C&Q, and start-up.
  • This role requires strong problem-solving, communication, and decision-making skills to drive impact in a fast-paced evolving business landscape and ensure compliance with industry standards.

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in engineering (Mechanical Engineering preferred)
  • 10 years' experience in clean utilities design, operation, and maintenance
  • Experience with WFI, clean steam generation, compressed air, and process gases
  • Solid understanding of cGMP's for clean utility systems
  • Experience with start-up processes and Commissioning & Qualification
  • Experience leading capital projects in clean utilities ($50 - $200 MM$ preferred)
