Job Summary

  • Responsible for the set-up and changeover of assigned machines to meet the production schedule including tooling preparation for changeover and cleaning of old tooling.
  • Troubleshoot process and equipment inefficiencies and perform assigned preventative maintenance duties on equipment as required.
  • Comply with the applicable responsibilities related to effective quality management in accordance with MPT Sterling Heigh Quality Management System (QMS) IATF 16949.

Key Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Experience in metal stamping, progressive, transfer, and line dies
  • Knowledge of MIOSHA standards
  • Pass the Tool & Die aptitude testing
  • Six (6) months to one (1) year of production experience
  • Strong knowledge of Flexplate processes
  • Must be able to obtain Hi-lo & Crane permits
