  • As an Avionics Systems Engineer, you will apply your engineering knowledge, principles, tools, and techniques to implement a series of upgrades and improvements to the C-17 Globemaster III aircraft.
  • The selected candidate will rapidly integrate into the team and employ an interdisciplinary approach to the analysis, design, development, system-level testing, verification, and validation of the C-17 Flight Management System (FMS) and other avionics systems.

Key Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in aircraft, avionics, flight controls
  • Work-related programming experience with Ada, C, C++, C#, JAVA, FORTRAN, and Python
  • Knowledge of deriving and allocating requirements
  • Ability to develop and modify electronic/electrical system designs
  • Knowledge of verification, validation, certification, and qualification processes
  • Bachelor of Science degree in engineering or related field
