Hendricks Regional Health is seeking a full-time Pharmacy Technician for day shifts to assist in pharmacy-related functions under the supervision of a staff pharmacist. The role includes delivering medications, maintaining inventory, compounding sterile products, and ensuring compliance with pharmacy policies and regulations

Job Summary

  • Under the general supervision and work direction of the staff pharmacist the Pharmacy Technician performs pharmacy-related functions in compliance with departmental policies and procedures that provide optimal pharmaceutical care.
  • This includes performing aseptic compounding of parenteral admixtures and other sterile dosage forms, participating in the maintenance and stocking of unit-based automated dispensing cabinets, and processing floor stock/requisitions for nursing units and ancillary areas.
  • The role requires a high school diploma, current valid State of Indiana Pharmacy Technician license, current national certification through the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board, and at least 1 year of hospital-based pharmacy experience.
