Hendricks Regional Health is seeking a full-time Pharmacy Technician for day shifts to assist in pharmacy-related functions under the supervision of a staff pharmacist. The role includes delivering medications, maintaining inventory, compounding sterile products, and ensuring compliance with pharmacy policies and regulations
Job Summary
Under the general supervision and work direction of the staff pharmacist the Pharmacy Technician performs pharmacy-related functions in compliance with departmental policies and procedures that provide optimal pharmaceutical care.
This includes performing aseptic compounding of parenteral admixtures and other sterile dosage forms, participating in the maintenance and stocking of unit-based automated dispensing cabinets, and processing floor stock/requisitions for nursing units and ancillary areas.
The role requires a high school diploma, current valid State of Indiana Pharmacy Technician license, current national certification through the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board, and at least 1 year of hospital-based pharmacy experience.
