The primary purpose of this job position is to ensure adequate and appropriate staffing of the facility nursing department to meet the needs of the residents based on budget, census, and as may be directed by facility administration.
Essential duties include maintaining employee records, coordinating schedules, and assisting employees with scheduling-related forms.
The role requires the ability to cope with the mental and emotional stress of the position and to relate to and work with ill, disabled, elderly, emotionally upset, and hostile people.
