Job Summary

  • Provide care to adult or pediatric/ congenital patients undergoing cardiac surgical procedures in the Operating Room, assisting the team in maintaining a safe and sterile environment, and serves as the patient’s advocate during the intraoperative phase of care.
  • Perform circulating functions including monitoring, recording and communicating patient condition and managing overall nursing care of patient before, during and after procedure.
  • Demonstrates the ability to perform all functions required after hours in emergency procedures.
