Job Summary

  • This role provides business-focused oversight of the GM Quality System, GMS BIQ principles, and the Global Quality Manual, ensuring customer-focused quality requirements are built into daily operations and new program launches.
  • The manager partners with Assembly Plant leadership, Engineering, and cross-functional teams to define problems clearly, mentor teams through complex issue resolution, and provide transparent updates on risks and corrective actions.
  • Lead, develop, and hold accountable a team of salaried quality professionals, setting clear direction, managing resources, and removing roadblocks to consistently achieve launch and plant quality objectives.
