Pacific Fusion is seeking an Electro-Mechanical Build Technician who will support the assembly, testing, and validation of components for their fusion energy systems. The ideal candidate should have hands-on technical experience, problem-solving skills, and a proactive approach to ensure success in setting up automated manufacturing lines

Job Summary

  • As an Electro-Mechanical Build Technician, you will play a crucial role in supporting our engineering and delivery teams in setting up automated manufacturing lines and in the assembly, testing, and validation of electrical and mechanical components integral to our fusion energy systems.
  • Lead the assembly, installation, and maintenance of our fusion systems, receive deliveries and control inventory, and support the engineering team during design, development, and testing phases.
  • Total compensation includes industry-competitive salary, equity plan, 6% employer 401k matching, generous paid time off, and medical, dental, and vision insurance.

Key Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a technician
  • Extensive experience driving a forklift
  • Extensive experience using hand power tools
  • Associate’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field (Bonus Points)
  • Experience with hands-on tasks such as machining, welding, construction, auto mechanics (Bonus Points)
