Job Summary
Assists the Occupational Therapist in providing patient-centered therapy services, carrying out treatment plans, and documenting resident progress in accordance with physician orders, state practice acts, and facility policies.
Provide direct patient care to improve functional independence and quality of life, record daily treatment notes and weekly progress notes, and communicate resident progress with the interdisciplinary teams.
Participate in rehab meetings, care conferences, and in-services as assigned, and assist with cleaning, maintenance, and organization of the therapy treatment area.
