Job Summary
The Academic Support Specialist III is responsible for assessing student readiness for practicum, preparing students for the practicum placement process, and determining appropriate placement options.
The position is responsible for recruiting and onboarding qualified practicum sites and social work practicum instructors, and collaborating with the Director of Practicum Education to plan and conduct program orientations, trainings, and events.
Essential duties include processing student applications, securing required documentation, conducting conflict resolution, identifying and recruiting placement sites, maintaining accurate information in tracking software, and conducting offsite supervision.

Key Requirements
Bachelor's degree in a related field and four (4) years of relevant experience
Master's degree in social work, plus two years of related experience (Preferred)

Two years' experience as a practicum instructor or liaison (Preferred)
