Skills & Requirements

Must-have

  • Two years professional job-related experience
  • Ability to read and write English
  • Use of hand and pneumatic tools
  • Lifting up to 40 pounds frequently
  • Completion of Basic Assembly Training

Nice-to-have

  • ASE Certification for diesel or gas engines
  • Previous engine assembly manufacturing experience
  • Experience operating a crane in manufacturing
  • Strong electrical and mechanical background
  • Leadership experience in production environment

Key Requirements

  • Two years auto/diesel/farm maintenance experience
  • Two years commercial construction maintenance experience
  • Six months Lafayette Large Engine facility staffing agency experience
  • Caterpillar Logistics kitting/subbing experience
  • Two years manufacturing experience
  • Technical degree in diesel engine or related field
