The Assistant Director of Nursing assists the Director of Nursing in planning, developing, and supervising the activities of the nursing staff to provide 24-hour care.
This role requires acting as a back-up for the DON and RN/LVN staff while ensuring residents are treated with respect and their safety is maintained.
The position serves as a liaison between residents, family members, and physicians while maintaining confidentiality and keeping abreast of regulatory changes.

Must-have
Supervise licensed and non-licensed nursing staff

Key Requirements
Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred
3-5 years of nurse management experience
Good standing with State Board of Nursing
Graduation from an Accredited School of Nursing
Maintain required continuing education and licensing
