The NC Department of Transportation is seeking a Salary Administration Consultant I to support HR operations, classification, and compensation. This role involves assisting managers with policy interpretation and technical support for the Workday system, alongside project management responsibilities

Job Summary

  • The primary purpose of this position is to serve as a back-up to the Lead Workday Consultant/back-up Workday Point of Contact (POC) position in the areas supporting, HR Operations, Qualification & Salary Administration, Classification and Compensation, BEACON/SAP support, Policy group and HR consultation.
  • This position will work with DOT managers in interpreting and applying personnel and departmental policies and is responsible for providing support to the Divisions, DMV and Raleigh Units.
  • In addition, this position will be responsible for providing technical support, problem resolution within the Workday ATS, project management and participating in special HR projects for agencywide implementation.
