The purpose of this job is to accurately and efficiently receive warehouse stock and ship all merchandise related to the distribution function of the company and serve as a company representative, promoting the reputation of United Central Industrial Supply in a positive manner.
This position requires performing assigned tasks such as loading and unloading trucks, inventory counts, maintaining accurate purchase order files, and assisting in safeguarding inventory against pilferage or theft.
The work environment includes varying temperatures, warehouse and industrial locations with harsh conditions, and requires adherence to safety policies to prevent life-threatening hazards.
