Assist the Director of Nursing Services in directing day to day nursing activities in accordance with regulations governing long term care facilities.
Ensure quality nursing care by supervising personnel, monitoring medication administration, and maintaining safety and infection control standards.
Participate in staff development, committee functions, and resident care planning to promote a well-educated nursing service department and effective resident care.

Key Requirements
Nursing Degree from accredited college or university
Minimum 2 years experience in long term care
Current active RN license in state
Current CPR certification
Training in rehabilitative and restorative nursing
Knowledge of PCC preferred
Ability to maintain continuing education and licensing
