Job Summary
This Repair Design Engineer (RDE) position is responsible for the development of repairs for military engines, including concept development, writing repairs, obtaining approvals, and coordinating with the end user.
The role involves taking ownership of concurrently running projects, organizing testing, supporting production requests, coordinating approvals, and liaising with Integrated Product Teams (IPTs).
Responsibilities include assisting less experienced engineers, representing ASE at forums, identifying and mitigating risks, and assisting in process improvements.
