Job Summary

  • This role plays a key role in aligning corporate and local policies and procedures and will foster a proactive and integrated EHS culture that promotes a positive, proactive approach throughout all operations.
  • The Senior EHS Specialist is responsible for working within the cleanroom manufacturing facilities, laboratories and outdoors at times and complies with GMP gowning and access requirements in these controlled areas.

Key Requirements

  • Minimum of a B.S. degree
  • 3-5 plus years of EHS experience
  • Prior EHS Incident investigation experience
  • Demonstrated knowledge of EHS regulations
  • Experience conducting EHS site training
  • Experience with hazardous waste and biological waste management
  • Experience with DOT hazardous material shipping
  • Experience with contractor management
  • Experience with LOTO, electrical safety, confined space, and fall protection
  • Working knowledge of EPA, OSHA, WA L&I, Dept of Ecology, NFPA
  • Effective project management skills
  • Experience with safety risk assessments
  • Strong root cause analysis skills
  • Ability to comply with cleanroom and GMP gowning
