Job Summary
Examines and analyzes tissue specimens to diagnose and treat diseases, analyzing and interpreting laboratory tests to identify diseases and conditions.
Provides surgical pathology, clinical pathology, or autopsy diagnostic services including frozen section diagnosis, gross examination, microscopic examination, report generation and case coding.
Contributes to medical and allied health student teaching, lectures, laboratories, and research projects, potentially resulting in publications or national conference presentations.
