This position will be responsible for mechanical design of wide range of lab test designs, installations including shelf assemblies, enclosures, sensor mounts and access provisions etc
Job Summary
This position will be responsible for mechanical design of wide range of lab test designs, installations including shelf assemblies, enclosures, sensor mounts and access provisions etc.
Perform limited structural analyses (linear static, modal, basic fatigue) using established Analysis tools (hand-calculations methods) and using CAE/FEA tools to validate design meets the requirements and specifications.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Labs, systems, electronics, manufacturing, suppliers) to improvise the designs, ensure safety, perform DFMA, and resolve integration issues.
