Skills & Requirements

Must-have

  • Registered Veterinary Technician credential required
  • Emergency or specialty medicine experience preferred
  • Ability to lift up to 25 kg independently
  • Availability for nights weekends and holidays
  • Experience with IVs CRIs and blood transfusions

Nice-to-have

  • VTS certification in ECC internal medicine or anesthesia
  • RECOVER CPR training or instructor status
  • Experience with exotics cases
  • Strong emotional intelligence and communication skills
  • Willingness to work in noisy environments with odors

Key Requirements

  • Associate's degree or higher in veterinary technology
  • RVT credential in Ontario province
  • 1+ years of veterinary technician experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent
