The primary purpose of the Treatment Nurse (LVN) position is to provide specialized skin care and wound treatment services to residents in accordance with physician orders, facility policies, and regulatory requirements.
The Treatment Nurse is responsible for monitoring resident skin integrity, administering treatments, coordinating care with the interdisciplinary team, and ensuring documentation is accurate and compliant with federal and state guidelines.
This position may assist with guidance and support of nursing staff regarding wound care protocols and skin integrity monitoring.
