Job Summary
The primary purpose of these positions is to conduct administrative hearings for the Division of Motor Vehicles.
These positions conduct administrative hearings in person and via webcam for driver’s license revocations, driver’s license restorations and ignition interlock violations.
The Hearing Officer is also required to resolve a variety of driver customer problems that do not warrant a hearing and evaluate requests for in-state hearings from North Carolina residents, attorneys, etc. concerning reinstatements.
