Key Requirements

  • Security Officer Healthcare Certification (CHSO) within two years
  • Valid driver's license required
  • State of Illinois 20-hour Basic Security Officer course
  • Firearm Owners Identification Card (FOID) for Illinois
  • Concealed Carry Weapon (CCW) license for Wisconsin
  • Certified in Conducted Energy Weapon (CEW) use within 90 days
  • High school graduate or GED
  • 1 year of experience in security or public safety
