Blue Origin is seeking Manufacturing Planners at all levels to develop and implement aerospace manufacturing processes in a dynamic environment. The role involves translating engineering designs into functional hardware and improving production efficiency, with a focus on safety and collaboration

Job Summary

  • Translate engineering intent and drawings into fully functional hardware ready for test, qualification, and flight by crafting manufacturing bill of materials and work instructions.
  • Support Mfg Engineers in the use of system tools to execute work orders including disposition of nonconformances, redlining work orders, revising BOM, BOM reconciliation, and GSE/Tooling maintenance and procurement.
  • Identify and implement opportunities for process improvements to reduce build time and improve safety and quality.

Key Requirements

  • 0-3 years Level I, 3+ Level II, 5+ Level III, 8+ Sr Level experience
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Working knowledge of Manufacturing Engineering processes
  • Strong understanding of engineering fundamentals
  • Knowledge of GD&T
