The incumbent is responsible for strategic direction in equity, diversity, and inclusion (EDI) and Indigenous relations (IR), working closely with their team to support the implementation of the College's EDI/IR action plans.
Responsibilities include developing, coordinating, and implementing strategies, providing strategic advice, and leading initiatives related to attraction, recruitment, performance management, leadership development, engagement, retention, and recognition.
The role involves promoting and highlighting EDI/IR services, developing internal and external communication strategies, and building partnerships with community and government organizations.
