Job Summary

  • Serves as a technical subject matter expert for optical assembly processes and supports the transition of new optical assemblies from prototype to full-rate production.
  • Creates and improves documentation for the manufacture of optical assemblies, trains technicians, and supports troubleshooting of existing assembly tools and processes.
  • Monitors and drives improvement of production assembly processes using Statistical Process Control and supports procurement and quality with supplier evaluation and selection.
