Job Summary Our client, a leading player in the aviation energy sector, is seeking a Senior Manager, Legal & Compliance. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with senior management on corporate legal matters, commercial transactions, joint ventures, and enterprise-wide compliance initiatives across the region. Responsibilities Lead the drafting, reviewing, and negotiation of diverse commercial contracts to support business operations and mitigate legal risks Develop and maintain standard contract templates and legal documentation to streamline internal and subsidiary processes Review legal documents, agreements, and corporate filings to support joint ventures and investment activities, ensuring compliance and strategic alignment Coordinate with external counsel to provide legal support for investment and project-related activities, ensuring timely and compliant documentation Prepare comprehensive legal and compliance reports for the parent company and maintain effective communication with Group Legal & Risk Control functions Manage legal disputes, claims, and litigation by coordinating external legal counsel and providing regular updates to management on case progress Collaborate with the Department Head to enhance legal and compliance frameworks, policies, and processes that uphold corporate governance standards Assist in departmental leadership by guiding team development and fostering a culture of ethics, integrity, and accountability Execute additional duties as assigned by the Department Head to support the department’s strategic objectives Required competencies and certifications Bachelor’s degree in Law or a related field Minimum 8 years of relevant legal experience, including demonstrated expertise in handling complex M&A transactions involving large state-owned or government-linked enterprises Strong familiarity with PRC regulatory and compliance frameworks to ensure adherence to regional legal requirements Proficient analytical skills to assess
