This role provides technical and people leadership within our AI Platform Engineering domain — managing, mentoring, and developing the engineers who build the platforms powering AI innovation across SEEK.

Skills & Requirements
Must-have
Lead and develop a high-performing team
Drive delivery of AI platform systems
Build and operate scalable AI infrastructure on AWS
Strengthen engineering practices and DevOps culture
Hands-on ML Engineering or MLOps experience
Nice-to-have
Foster a culture of safety, inclusivity, and engagement
Partner closely with the Staff Platform Engineer
Collaborate with Data Scientists, ML Engineers, and product teams
Key Requirements
Direct line management experience of engineers
Strong AWS infrastructure experience
Python proficiency
Experience building and operating highly available, resilient production systems
ML Engineering or MLOps experience including GenAI/LLM platforms
SRE experience building and operating production platform systems
Experience recruiting and developing software engineers
