The Lead Data Engineer is a senior technical leadership role responsible for the design, build, operation, and modernisation of enterprise‑grade data platforms, pipelines, and data‑enabled applications within the CIB Client Management environment.
In addition to technical delivery, the role is accountable for engineering standards, data standards, mentoring and capability building, and close partnership with business, analytics, security, and product stakeholders.

Key Requirements
8+ years experience in data engineering, software engineering, or platform engineering
Strong hands-on experience with SQL and Python, Java, Scala, JavaScript, or C#
Proven experience leading technical designs and code reviews
Solid understanding of Object-oriented design and Distributed systems concepts
Experience working as an agile practitioner
Relevant Diploma or B-Degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
