Job Summary

  • This role will manage the model risk management framework and overall model governance process for Synchrony Financial.
  • Partner with the validation center of excellence (COE) to design, formalize, implement, and maintain the GEN AI model governance/validation framework.

Key Requirements

  • Master’s degree or 14+ years quantitative experience
  • 10+ years in model risk management
  • 5+ years managing people
  • Strong knowledge of SR 11-7/OCC 2011-12
  • Proven record of leading cross function projects
  • Previous experience with Machine Learning / GEN AI oversight
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
