Job Summary
System Clinical Pharmacy Specialists are responsible for target interdisciplinary programs and clinical services and ensure pharmaceutical care programs are appropriately integrated throughout BH system.
Collaborates with physicians, pharmacists, and other members of the healthcare team to develop clearly defined guidelines, policies, and procedures that promote evidence-based practice to enhance patient outcomes.
Responsible for supervising and performing all pharmacy operations in accordance with hospital policies and procedures, ethical and professional practices, accreditation standards, State and Federal requirements and National Patient Safety Goals regarding medication management.

Doctorate of Pharmacy required
Kentucky Board of Pharmacy license
Indiana Board of Pharmacy license
Board certified in area of expertise
BCOP certification
PGY-2 ASHP-accredited Pharmacy Residency
PGY-1 ASHP-accredited Pharmacy Residency
Minimum 3 years of experience
Minimum 5 years of experience
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
