Job Summary
The Social and Environmental Safeguards (SES) Specialist is responsible for the implementation, oversight, monitoring, technical support, and reporting of safeguard requirements in accordance with UNDP policies.
This role ensures that UNDP Sudan’s interventions under the CPD are environmentally sustainable, socially inclusive, conflict-sensitive, and aligned with international best practices.
The position safeguards that environmental and social risks are properly identified, assessed, mitigated, and monitored, while promoting inclusive, gender-responsive, conflict-sensitive, and climate-resilient programming.
