Must-have
Monitor and adhere to purchasing laws
Review raw material costs with accounting
Negotiate with suppliers for critical supplies
Maintain production run inventory levels
Perform expediting and de-expediting functions
Support Lean/5S process improvement initiatives
Nice-to-have
Self-starter with minimal supervision
Experience in Wire and Cable industry
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
Ability to multi-task effectively
Participate in ISO Quality System procedures
Key Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Business preferred
Minimum 3 years experience as a buyer
Certified Purchasing Professional (CPP) certification plus
