Key Requirements

  • Minimum of three (3) years in a field-based medical affairs role
  • Five years as a decision maker in the payer or integrated delivery system space
  • Advanced healthcare/science doctoral degree (e.g., MD, PharmD, PhD)
  • Thorough knowledge of clinical medicine
  • Understanding of USA health care delivery system structure and function
  • Understanding of pharmaceutical economics, population health management, quality management, value-based payment and health care delivery policy and trends
  • Thorough understanding of the FDA, OIG, HIPAA and other ethical guidelines
