Job Summary

• Partner with Renewals and Expansion Account Executives to draft, review and negotiate complex commercial transactions, SaaS, PaaS and software agreements.
• Advise on various legal matters such as intellectual property, liability, indemnification, AI/ML, data privacy and security issues.
• This position is a hybrid position based in Vancouver or Toronto, reporting to the Senior Manager, Senior Corporate Counsel – Enterprise Sales & Procurement.

Key Requirements

• JD from accredited U.S. or Canadian university
• Bar membership in good standing
• 6+ years of combined law firm and in-house experience
• Experience with global public companies or large tech companies
• Extensive experience drafting and negotiating technology transactions
• Knowledge of complex corporate entity structures
• Experience negotiating IT, IP, SaaS, privacy, data security, AI/ML contracts
