The successful candidate will operate as the Sr. Field Application Engineer ensuring ABB products achieve preferred manufacturer status in project specifications.
This role requires collaborating with consultants, end users, and EPCs to define electrical project needs and provide value engineering on MV/LV switchgear and transformers.
Candidates must be fluent in English and have work authorization permitting employment in the US without sponsorship.

Salary
Base: $119,000 - $190,400 annually; Bonus: Eligible for short-term incentive plan/annual bonus; Benefits: Health, dental, vision, 401k, life insurance included

MV/LV switchgear and panelboard expertise
Short circuit and arc flash mitigation knowledge
SKM or Easy Power simulation tools proficiency

Strong public speaking and presentation skills
IEEE paper development experience
Thought leadership in industry conferences
Key Requirements
B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering
8+ years experience in electrical distribution industry
PE certification preferred
Knowledge of ANSI, IEEE, NEC, NEMA, NFPA 70E standards
US work authorization required
