The Retail Sales Associate is responsible for assisting customers in making purchases, merchandising and display, receiving money from and disbursing money to customers, and maintaining a high level of customer service at all times.
Essential functions include greeting customers, describing merchandise, recommending products, computing sales prices, processing payments, issuing receipts, maintaining the cash station and sales area, and ensuring the neatness and cleanliness of the retail operation.
The role requires mathematical skills, the ability to communicate effectively with guests, and the ability to pass cash handling training.
