Takeda is seeking a Data Engineer for its Analytical Development team in Lexington, MA, to develop and implement ETL data pipelines and support the digital transformation of laboratory results. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in software engineering and data analytics, particularly in a pharmaceutical context

Job Summary

  • Develop and deploy event driven ETL data pipelines that ingest and process structured and unstructured laboratory records into Takeda’s data architecture.
  • Assume technical ownership on digital transformation projects, which include but are not limited to data analytics and predictive modeling, dashboards using Spotfire, Tableau, Power BI, and open-sourced coding (i.e., R and Python).
  • U.S. Base Salary Range: $116,000.00 - $182,270.00; Bonus/Equity: U.S. based employees may be eligible for short-term and/or long-term incentives; Benefits: medical, dental, vision insurance, a 401(k) plan and company match, etc.

  • SQL, Cloud environments, AWS, Python, Dev-Ops and R Studio
  • ETL pipelines, data pre-processing, statistical concepts
  • work in multiple languages (Python, R, Scala, C/C++, SQL)
  • contributing to and maintaining multi-contributor software projects
