Job Summary
The News Producer produces our daily newscast, deciding the order in which stories will be told, writing teases and other content, timing news programs, editing video, and posting video to the website.
Responsibilities include producing newscasts for broadcast across all platforms, writing and ordering news stories, approving scripts, and balancing news and feature content.
Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism or a related field, or equivalent experience, with fluency in English grammar and a complete understanding of current events and journalism ethics.
