** Mirage Post Acute is seeking a Medication Aide to assist in administering medications to residents under the supervision of nursing staff and physicians. Job Summary

  • The primary purpose of this job position is to assist in administering medications to residents as ordered by the attending physician, under the direction of the nurse supervisor or charge nurse, and the Director of Nursing Services.
  • Accurately and safely prepare, administer, and document oral and/or topical medications, and observe and verify that medication is ingested or applied as directed.
  • Maintain a friendly, productive, working relationship with other members of the department of nursing, attending physicians, the Medical Director, and pharmacists.
