Job Summary
Swim Instructors are responsible for instructing group and private swim lessons to a variety of ages, experiences, learning styles and abilities of participants and meeting the outlined goals and objectives.
Within all lesson’s instructors are responsible for the safety of participants, including ensuring that all teaching and practice areas are free of hazards and that materials and equipment are safe.
Personally, and professionally, Swim Instructors are expected to attend and participate in all trainings and meetings within employee group and department wide, be receptive to professional and personal development, give and receive feedback, balance time commitments, recognize limitations and work to improve and function as a contributing member of the Penn State Campus Recreation team.

Maximum 24 hours/week during academic year (20 for International Students)
