Must-have

  • Patient flow monitoring and waiting area management
  • Fee collection and communication with patients

Nice-to-have

  • Knowledge of CPT, ICD-9, and ICD-10 coding
  • Experience with EPIC appointment scheduling system
  • Working knowledge of third party payor reimbursement
  • Maintaining a neat and well-maintained waiting room

Key Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Prior medical office experience
  • Experience using computerized appointment scheduling and electronic Medical Record systems
  • Knowledge of CPT, ICD-9, and ICD-10 coding
  • Working knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, Managed Care and commercial insurance
