Job Summary

  • The Department of Public Safety's mission is to safeguard and preserve the lives and property of the people of North Carolina through preparation, prevention, and protection with integrity and honor.
  • The Alerts and Warnings Coordinator will be responsible for managing, planning, coordinating, and implementing the North Carolina public alert and warning program integrating FEMA’s IPAWS and the Emergency Alert System.
  • This is a full time time-limited position with State Benefits for a duration of 3 years, offering opportunities to work with a large public safety agency serving diverse populations.
