Job Summary
The Department of Public Safety's mission is to safeguard and preserve the lives and property of the people of North Carolina through preparation, prevention, and protection with integrity and honor.
The Alerts and Warnings Coordinator will be responsible for managing, planning, coordinating, and implementing the North Carolina public alert and warning program integrating FEMA’s IPAWS and the Emergency Alert System.
This is a full time time-limited position with State Benefits for a duration of 3 years, offering opportunities to work with a large public safety agency serving diverse populations.
