As a Credit Analyst within the EMTR Team, you will be responsible for assessing and monitoring counterparty credit risk across a portfolio of transactions, with multiple counterparties, applying strong analytical judgement and quantitative insight to inform risk decision, and delivering timely and accurate credit evaluations, ensuring compliance with internal risk frameworks

Job Summary

  • As a Credit Analyst within the EMTR Team, you will be responsible for assessing and monitoring counterparty credit risk across a portfolio of transactions, with multiple counterparties, applying strong analytical judgement and quantitative insight to inform risk decision, and delivering timely and accurate credit evaluations, ensuring compliance with internal risk frameworks.
  • You will analyse financial statements, market data, and trading exposures to identify key risk drivers, sensitivities, and forward looking credit risks to determine a comprehensive financial analysis of the counterparty, focusing on key metrics to assess creditworthiness.

Key Requirements

  • Tertiary qualification in Business discipline
  • 2-5 years experience in credit risk analysis
  • Strong understanding of derivative and environmental products
